Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information. For contractors: your company name, the login email you sign in with, and an optional contact name and phone number. For our staff: name, email, and role.
• Order and job information. The orders you submit through the portal — product type, quantities, colors, notes, dates, and any photos or documents you attach to an order.
• Sign-in sessions. A session cookie that keeps you signed in. It's functional only — we don't use it for advertising or analytics tracking, and this site doesn't run any third-party analytics or ad scripts.

How we use it

We use this information to:

• Run the job queue — track your orders from submission through completion.
• Let you and our staff communicate about a specific order.
• Notify our team internally when a new order comes in (see "Who we share it with" below).
• Once your account is linked to a matching QuickBooks Online customer, create an invoice in our QuickBooks account when your order is marked complete. That invoice is created but never emailed automatically — one of our staff reviews and sends it manually.
• Keep records for our own business and accounting purposes.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that run this tool for us, each only for the purpose below:

• Supabase — our database, sign-in, and private file storage.
• Vercel — hosts the application itself.
• Resend — sends account-setup, password, and internal order-notification emails on our behalf.
• Slack — an order summary (contractor name, product, quantities, estimated completion date) is posted to an internal S&S channel when an order comes in. Nothing is posted outside our own workspace.
• Intuit QuickBooks Online — for contractors linked to a QuickBooks customer, completing an order creates a matching invoice in our QuickBooks account.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is active. If we deactivate an account, we keep the order history tied to it — that's our record of completed work and is part of our accounting — but the account itself can no longer sign in. If you'd like us to delete your account and the personal information tied to it, contact us at the email below; we'll do so except where we're required to keep records (for example, for accounting purposes).

Security

Your password is handled entirely by our authentication provider (Supabase) — we never see or store it ourselves. Photos and documents you upload are stored privately and are only reachable by you and our staff, never by the public. Access tokens for our QuickBooks connection are encrypted at rest and are never exposed to a browser.

Children

This is a business tool for our contractors and staff. It isn't directed at, and we don't knowingly collect information from, children.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Job Hub after a change means you accept the updated policy.
